CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Athletics and sports have always been a core part of my life. Many of my favorite people and mentors over the years were introduced into my life through sports, and I strongly believe in the sense of community and belonging that comes with being a part of a team.

The peak of my athletic career came in 2003 when I became the NCAA Champion in the 400-meter dash, running the fastest time in the world, while competing for the University of Minnesota.  Later that summer, while competing for Team USA at the World Championship in Paris I won a gold medal as a part of the 4x400 team.

The most neglected aspect of athletic training is mental health. And yet, mental health encompasses everything: mental strength, confidence, belief in yourself, pushing your body, knowing when to rest, etc.

At the Athletes Mental Health Foundation, I oversee operations and work with school districts and athletic departments to implement and optimize the utility of our platform. My mission is to make this community as accessible and functional as possible, ensuring your specific needs and questions are being addressed, and that every time you visit you’re learning something new.
